Dasariski combines the names and talents of Bob Dassie, Rich Talarico, and Craig Cackowski. Dasariski is known for their “slow play” style of longform improvisation, creating an hour-long piece of theater with a focus on believable characters and relationships inspired from a single audience suggestion.
Bob, Rich, and Craig first met at Chicago’s IO in 1992, and over the years have played together in such ensembles as Mr. Blonde, Close Quarters, Baby Wants Candy, Trio, Cog, Quartet, and The Armando Show. All three are veterans of Chicago’s Second City, and their TV and film credits as writers and actors include Saturday Night Live, Mad TV, Key & Peele, Arrested Development, Late Night With Conan O’Brien, The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Community, HBO’s Funny or Die Presents, Veep, Drunk History, IFC’s The Spoils of Babylon and the feature films High Fidelity, Casa De Mi Padre and The Kings of Summer. Festival appearances include Chicago Improv Festival, L.A. Improv Fest, Austin’s Out of Bounds, and UCB NY’s Del Close Marathon.
