Meg Favreau is a writer and performer originally from the very pretty (but very boring) state of New Hampshire. She currently writes and performs with the iO West headliner sketch team DJ Faucet.
Meg has been writing and performing sketch comedy since 2006, and her groups have been featured in festivals including the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival, the Women in Comedy Festival, The Boston Comedy Festival, and the Seattle Sketch Fest. She has also written for McSweeney’s, Huffington Post Comedy, The Big Jewel, The Smew, and The Smart Set, as well as writing several original pilots.
Beyond the world of comedy, Meg is also an accomplished food writer. Her humorous comfort food cookbook, Little Old Lady Recipes: Comfort Food and Kitchen Table Wisdom was released in November 2011 by Quirk Books. Currently, she writes the monthly column Forgotten Foods for Table Matters, where she explores weird old recipes.
