ALEX FOX is a Los Angeles based comedian, writer, producer, actor and food lover who never stops talking about food. She began her performance career at Emerson College in Boston, with the comedy troupe, The Swolen Monkey Showcase. After college, Alex moved to Chicago to study improv at The Second City, iO (formerly Improv Olympic) and Annoyance Theaters. It was a blast. Most recently, she and her writing partner, Rachel Lewis sold an original show to Nickelodeon, in development as we speak. She has worked as a staff writer on the comedic, math driven, PBS kids show, ODD SQUAD (release date November 26, 2014). As an actor, some of Ms. Fox’s credits include, commercials for Toyota, Amazon Kindle, Cox Communications, Little Caesars, Fandango, Suntrust Bank and the Minnesota State Lottery. She also contributed comedic commentary to Current TV’s Rotten Tomatoes Show. She was also featured as the leading lady in the pilot Almost Funny, with comedian Dan Levy at the New York and Los Angeles Television Festivals. Alex does HILARIOUS two-person improv with her writing partner, at iO West. They call themselves The Jon and Eddie Show and were voted one of the top five improv groups in the nation by The Friars Club and some of BUST magazine’s funniest ladies in Los Angeles. You can also catch her gracing the stage at the Nerdmelt Theater in, Puppet Town, a sketch comedy show for kids…with puppets (co-written and co-created by herself and Rachel Lewis). Amazing.
