USS Rock N Roll

On March 5th, we honor a man who needs no introduction: Herb Koss. You’ve seen him around the theater for years. Chances are that he’s been to your show or he’s chatted to you at the bar. Several years ago, a retired man who spent much of his life traveling the world, stumbled into iO West and caught a show. He caught the improv bug. And we caught the Herb bug. A year ago, Herb underwent heart valve replacement surgery and lived to tell the tale. Now, he still manages to come out and support our little theater and community of people. Join Uss Rock n Roll on the mainstage at 10:30pm on 3/5 to help honor one of iO West’s dearest friends. You’ll, of course, find Herb in the front row, sitting on his favorite seat cushion. Oh, and it just happens to be his birthday. See you there!

USS Rock N Roll perform the Harold, iO West Theater’s signature long-form improv piece. With every show, USS strives to have fun and connect with each other and the audience. Exploring themes and creating grounded, funny scenes and real characters are also high on the priority list. Mostly, USS loves to go for a ride. And they love to have you along for it.
