If you’re interested in puppetry, sketch, or supporting another human being that happens to have given the world a lot of joy in his lifetime, then please join us!
But beware this is not a Sesame Street show. These are adult ‘muppet style’ puppets in very immature situations. Please leave the kids at home.
These are sketches written by a guy in a group called Dumbshit Mountain (if that clues you in at all).
So come out, have some drinks, and learn something besides counting or how to spell ‘KAT’ (cuz who needs spelling anyhow, right?).
The show is technically ‘free’ so donations only at the door. Pay what you can. All proceeds go to Michaels medical costs. IO West will not be doing advanced tickets or credit cards for this show, so cash only.
Michael Earl has introduced many, many people to puppetry. Either as a teacher at PUPPET SCHOOL (Sherman Oaks), as a performer in many films including TEAM AMERICA and the MUPPET MOVIE, or through his work on Sesame Street as Mr. Snuffleupagus and Forgetful Jones. And many of his students and members within the puppet community are coming together to raise money to support him and his rising medical costs as he battles cancer.
