Mercury 12 Presents: Supernova Sunday!

Del Close was part of an Air Force Space Program known as Mercury 12, wherein his dreams were monitored while under the influence of LSD. Del eventually left the program and received a note from the Government famously saying “You owe the United States Air Force one dream.”
