Throughout January and February 2017, the iO Theater’s Los Angeles location, “iO West“, will celebrate its 20th anniversary with special star-studded events featuring some of the biggest stars in the entertainment industry coming back to perform at iO West.

Alumni scheduled to perform include Oscar Winning Director and former head writer for SNL, Adam McKay, Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley,) David Koecher (Anchorman, The Goldbergs, Superior Doughnuts,) Tim Meadows (SNL, Son of Zorn, The Goldbergs,) Neil Flynn (Scrubs, The Middle,) Jack McBrayer (30 Rock, The Middle,) Stephnie Weir (The Comedians, Veep, Crazy Ex Girlfriend,) Emmy Winner Ian Roberts (UCB, Key & Peele), Mike Coleman (Drunk History) and many others!

The current show schedule is as follows:

Saturdays, at 9:00pm. (on January 7, 14, 21 and 28)

Adam McKay reunites with Ian Roberts and other members of his former iO team, THE FAMILY. ( Q and A to follow.) Q & A: Ian Roberts (Key and Peele, Get Hard, UCB) will moderate a Q & A with writer, director Adam McKay (The Big Short, Step Brothers) about his career and life that will occasionally evolve (or devolve) into improvised scenes

January 26 9:00 P.M.

Stephnie Weir and Bob Dassie in “WeirDass” This can’t-miss show of the real-life married duo is amazing and reminiscent of Nichols and May.

These alumni (and others) represent a core that inspired and fueled the rise of improvisation as THE go-to creative force in show business today. Come will join us in celebrating these artists and their shows!
