Bill Stern

Bill Stern spent his young adulthood performing improvised theater on the streets and stages of Austin, Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas at Dallas, Bill spent a year traveling to America’s colleges, theaters, and performing arts festivals with the touring comedy company Available Cupholders. Since then he has studied improv at the iO and Annoyance theaters, and trained directly under the grandfather of modern improv, Keith Johnstone.

Bill’s Playground Theater house ensemble, KC Redheart, was named the “funniest folk of 2011” by Timeout Magazine. He was an original member of one of the longest running iO Theater house ensembles, Dart, and currently Bill can be seen at iO performing with Smokin Hot Dad (the siqqest Harold team in the world).
