Laura McKenzie

Thumb_laura_mckenzie_headshot_color

Most recently Laura appeared in the Factory Theater’s production of 1985, and music directed and performed in Beer, a Neo-futurist show about beer. She’s served as writer-performer for several projects, including her one-woman show Laura McKenzie Feels Like Makin’ Love which ran at the New York International Fringe Festival, the Seattle Fringe Festival and several theaters in Chicago.

Laura is a proud company member of both the Factory Theater and Barrel of Monkeys, where she is also the music director. She is thrilled to be making her debut at the iO, unless you consider her appearance as the audience volunteer for “The Dream” her debut, in which case she is thrilled to be making her unintoxicated debut at the iO.
