Looking to get out of your head, create richer environments and stay connected to your group while improvising? Every improviser picks up a bad habit or two along their journey. Improv Rehab targets the big ones and keeps the entire group actively participating throughout.
“Rance tricks you into having fun and taking improv less seriously so you can have fun and then realize he’s making you take improv more seriously! I have been having a great weekend since this workshop!” – Jared Larson (team: Uncle Magic)
“The simplest and most honest thing to say about Rance’s training/coaching/teaching is that it is an absolute explosion of fun from beginning to end.” –Orlando Lara (team: A Loveless Marriage)
“[Improv Rehab] was extremely challenging while at the same time teaching the most important parts of improv scene-work. It helped us realize in practice what we’ve always been told about improv in theory…Rance knows his stuff and knows how to get great performances out of improvisors.” – Mike Madgiak (team: Sears Tower)

Self-Publishing and Blogging for Comedians: From Comedy to Cash By Bryan Cohen
February 18th 12pm-3pm
$20.00
In an ideal world, all comedians would be earning a full-time living from their creative craft. Unfortunately, we spend most of our time at a job (or jobs) we don’t like. Author and comedian Bryan Cohen will explain how he earned money from comedy, blogging and self-publishing to make his creative pursuits his full-time profession. Learn how to take your comedy and your marketable skills and turn them into work available for the Kindle, Nook and in paperback form. Learn how to increase your online reach. Most importantly, figure out how to earn more doing the work you love. Bryan Cohen is a writer, actor and director who graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2005. He has written six books, a novel, a play, and a TV pilot which have sold over 9,000 copies. He is a graduate of the iO and Annoyance training programs.
“Bryan Cohen’s self-publishing and creative writing workshop was an illuminating experience, demystifying the nature and process of self-publishing. Cohen’s patience and enthusiasm is contagious, as I myself put the finishing touches on my first self-published work.”Chip Bagnall, Chicago comedian and author of Half-Baked History
“Bryan knows his stuff and if you want real hands on experience then check him out. He understands the best way to get your book out there as well as how to market it.”
